How much time do you put into your marketing materials? I find myself at this cross roads of wanting to become a better business person and taking control of every aspect of my business before I hire anyone to help me. I'm trying to figure the hosting aspects( you'll see this in another topic), but where do you go to hire your SEO professionals? And how much effort do you put into your marketing materials?

I am tempted to plaster a general marketing letter, outlining my services, availability and contact information i a few forums but I want to know this is the right step before I finish configuring my hosting issues.
