Warning - make sure the USB flash drive is not mounted prior to running the dd command or damage to your equipment may result, Running DD on the wrong device will cause the device to be erased and written over with the ISO.
I remember messing up with my flash drive many a times until I realized that I was doing this wrong. This is a great tip that you have shared - and the Article rightly mentions the warning. Thought to add this warning up here just in case there are some lazy people who might not be willing to open up the link and do a read until the way down...
