What's the latest domain that you 'hand registered'

I'm always checking for good domain names.. by 'Hand registered' I mean you came up with the name and saw it was available, then registered it...

I never really used to purchase domains however, roughly a month ago I was debating starting a dropshipping company online which would (hopefully) bring in more money, I thought up the name while I was sitting at work and to this day I still have no understanding of how I came up with it, the domain was bargainsection.co.uk. Anyway, yeah; I have no use for it now! :P

The last domain name I hand registered was Forumetrics.org.

Actually I came up with this name many months ago. However I made the mistake of checking for its availability on goDaddy. It was available at the time I checked but I didn't buy it straightaway. Then about a month after I made the check, I was ready to buy but the name had already been taken. Guess who bought the name? goDaddy! What a coincidence, isn't it? Or would you think that there's something fishy going on?

Anyway I was depressed for some time about that. Both the dot com and the dot net were taken. Forumetrics is a word I coined because when I checked on Google, no one had used that word before. Anyway, recently, Namecheap came up with one of it's superduper offers which were only for 24-hours. That was when I bought Forumetrics.org. For 1usd. Good deal?

The last domain that I registered was Abimon.com. This domain is for a virtual pet website that I'm developing. I don't register domain name too often, only when I have a website idea.

When you meant hand registered, do you mean domains that we registered without any keyword research? Then I certainly had not registered any such domains. I always do the keyword research first, to see that the domain shall indeed be profitable for me. If its yes, then I shall go ahead and check whether the domain is available. If its available, I shall buy it.
